Percale UK are a Partnership and are registered at Goyt Mill, Marple, Cheshire SK6 7HX. Percale UK shall be referred to through these terms as “Percale”, “The Company”, “we”, “our”, and “us”.

This page tells you the legal terms and conditions (“Terms”) on which we sell any items on the Sites (“Items”) to you (“Customer”). Please note these Terms only apply to the purchase of Items and services (on the Sites).

Purchase of Percale UK Items and Services from any other source (including without limitations our Stores or third-party stores and websites selling our items) (“Other Sources”), will be governed by the terms and conditions applicable at the relevant source. Please note that promotions and offers available for purchases on the Sites may not be available for purchases through Other Sources and vice versa.

Please read these Terms carefully and make sure that you understand them before ordering any Items from the Sites. Please note that before placing an order you will be asked to agree to these Terms. By placing an order, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms.

Each of the clauses of these Terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining clauses will remain in full force and effect.

Ordering

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Payment is by card via Worldpay only. Postage and packaging is £6.99 on orders under £100 in mainland Britain, Postage and Packaging for Scotland, the Highlands and Islands is more, please email us for a quote before purchasing. Postage and packaging costs is dictated by the courier and therefore subject to change at our discretion. It is always recommended you email for an up to date price prior to placing an order.

Whilst we make every effort to assure the accuracy of the images, these are are for illustrative purposes only and may vary slightly depending on many factors such as your computer’s display. If unsure please ask for samples and these will be provided if available.

Orders will be dispatched in most cases within 7 – 10 working days, because larger orders are made to order please allow up to 28 days for orders to be dispatched. Orders will be sent as one package wherever possible so as not to incur further postage costs. If items are out of stock, we will let you know when they are due and have them delivered as soon as they arrive with us.

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of purchase or within 14 days of receipt of your goods. Should you wish to cancel your purchase within 14 days, please contact us in writing. All items must be appropriately packaged and returned within 14 Days, unused in their original packaging in a saleable condition, along with the invoice. Please contact us by telephone or email for a return address.

Orders where goods are received back after 14 days will be charged a restocking fee of 15% of the goods value. We cannot accept liability for returned goods lost or damaged during transit. You are advised to package the product carefully to avoid damage and to return goods by recorded delivery, registered post or by courier. Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The cost of returning goods will be borne by the customer. Cost of return of goods cancelled after dispatch will be borne by customer.

You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 30 days after we receive your return or 14-day cancellation notice. Shipping and Handling charges will not be refunded for (1) undeliverable packages (including those for which the shipper cannot locate the customer, resulting in the order being returned to sender or abandoned), (2) deliveries that are refused (including instances in which the customer is unwilling to pay any applicable taxes or duties which results in the order being returned to sender or abandoned) or (3) orders cancelled after the goods have been shipped. All undeliverable or refused orders will be treated as a return, with the same policy applied as returned items.

In the unlikely event that you receive damaged goods, please notify us in writing within 14 days of receipt and goods will be re-dispatched on return of faulty items. Customers must be aware that Percale UK cannot be held liable if goods are received in a damaged condition from the courier/postal service if the items were dispatched in a saleable condition. If items are received in a damaged condition, customers are advised that they must refuse delivery or sign for the goods as ‘damaged’ for insurance purposes.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases. Please let us know if you are not entirely satisfied with our products or our service, so that we can rectify the situation. Items are described as accurately as possible, but please note that sizes, colours and designs may vary slightly.

Orders for Percale UK, these sheets are made to order, items may be returned if found to be faulty or the wrong size to which you have ordered, however as they are made by hand, please allow a tolerance of 2% on the sizing. We regret they may not be exchanged/refunded for any other reason. Items must be returned unused and unwashed in their original packaging.

Nothing in this Returns Policy affects your statutory rights or your rights under any contract you may have with us.

We may undertake searches with credit reference agencies for the purposes of verifying your identity and the personal information you submit as part of an order. To do so the agencies may check your personal information against any particular information on any database (public or otherwise) to which they have access. They may also use your details in the future to assist other companies for verification purposes. We may also use your personal information for the purposes of prevention or detection of fraud. By submitting your order, you agree to this.
